- Prof. Gavriil Tsechpenakis received NSF grant as PI, Congratulation!!!
- Hongyuan got IEEE ICME travel grant to attend conference IEEE ICME2011 at Spain.
- Paper "Vehicle Detection and Tracking in Car Video Based on Motion Model" authored by Amirali Jazayeri, Hongyuan Cai, Jiang Yu Zheng and Mihran Tuceryan has been accepted as a long paper for IEEE Transaction of Intelligent Transportation Systems. This is an outcome of two year's NIJ grant on Intelligent In-car Video project and, in prior to it, a conference paper at the acceptance rate of 14% has been presented at IEEE Intelligent Vehicle 2010 this summer.
- Hongyuan got NSF student tranvel award to present his paper at ACM Multimeida Conference 2010 at Florence, Italy
- Jiang and Mihran got a grant from National Institute of Justices, Device to Scanning Impression Information
- Welcome new faculty, Dr. Gavriil Tsechpenakis, to our group.
- Welcome new PhD student, Mr. Ruwan janapriya, and master student, Mr. Abhishek Joshi to join our group.
- Hongyuan's paper "Acquiring Shaking Free Route Panorama by Stationary Blurring" has been acceped by IEEE ICIP2010 at Hong Kong. He is going to present the paper there in the end of September.
- In-car video paper accepted by IEEE Conference on Intelligent Vehicles 2010, 8 pages. Authors: Amirali, Hongyuan, Jiang Yu, and Mihran.
- VISC lab is expecting applications to PhD program in the area of medical imaging. Succeeded candidates will be fully supported by the group.
